Leading legal publisher seeks a talented senior reporter to join their London‑based team. Our client is the leading practice‑area research and rankings, insights, and awards provider for global law firms.

Their focus on financial & corporate, litigation, intellectual property, and tax provides differentiation and intelligence for practitioners who depend on highly specialised, cross‑border collaboration between law firms and corporate counsel.

The primary function of the role is writing news, analysis, trends, Q&As and other pieces for the subscription‑based website and weekly newsletters. The successful candidate is expected to be out in the field meeting contacts, attending industry events, chasing down leads and producing daily articles.

Key responsibilities:
  • Pitch, report and write daily articles for the client’s audience of primarily law firms.
  • Support on strategic projects and milestone awards ceremonies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest business of law and financial‑legal news and understand the impact on law firms.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with key members of the industry, conducting regular calls and meetings.
  • Help boost subscription engagement with impactful coverage.
Experience Required:
  • Strong interest in developments at the intersection of finance and law.
  • 1‑2 years of experience as a reporter, ideally within the legal market.
  • Degree educated – minimum of a 2:1 from a Russell Group university.
  • Willingness to learn about complex subjects quickly.
  • Previous journalism experience.
  • Strong communication and language skills and storytelling ability.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
