Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team responsible for the delivery and repair of wheelchairs within the West of Scotland.
  • Possess a HNC in a relevant engineering discipline or an ONC with three years of relevant experience.
  • Have at least three years of post-qualification engineering experience, with good knowledge of engineering practices and materials.
  • Knowledge of wheelchair repairs is advantageous.
  • Hold a full driving license.
  • Demonstrate good time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
