PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR IN NORFOLK

Core Recruiter are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a national, award-winning property consultancy operating across the public and private sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, multi-disciplined consultancy delivering a wide range of residential, commercial and education projects. You will provide high-quality quantity surveying and cost management services from project inception through to completion, working closely with designers, project managers and clients.

In this role, you will prepare feasibility studies and cost plans, manage tender processes, provide procurement advice, analyse costs, prepare reports, support contract administration, agree final accounts and contribute to the development of junior team members. Applications are welcomed from both Senior Quantity Surveyors and experienced Quantity Surveyors.

Salary/Package

Up to £55,000 per annum

Requirements/Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Member of RICS or working towards Chartered status
  • Current CSCS card or willingness to obtain
  • Extensive experience in a similar role
  • Experience preparing cost plans and tender documentation
  • Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using cost management and measurement software
  • Knowledge of construction, health & safety legislation
  • Project management experience
