A leading construction firm in Huddersfield is seeking an experienced senior quantity surveyor to manage a Commercial team on multidisciplinary rail projects. Candidates should possess MRICS accreditation and proven experience in large rail infrastructure projects. This role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to join an established team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working on large rail infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working within an Alliance.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the established Commercial team on multidisciplinary Projects.
  • Contract/Commercial Management.
  • Cost Management.
  • Prepare, validate and agreement of interim and final accounts.
  • Prepare monthly reports.
  • Complete savings report for internal records.
  • Risk Management.
  • Estimating.
  • Contract Change Control.
  • Attending / leading Commercial / Contract meetings.
  • Comply with Quality Management Systems, processes and procedures.

My high profile rail client is looking for an experienced senior quantity surveyor to join their exisiting team in Huddersfield.

Suitable candidates will ideally have experience working within an Alliance.
