Senior Quantity Surveyor – Specialist Commercial Interior Fit‑Out - £70,000 – £80,000 per annum + car allowance + bonus

Location: High Wycombe (2 days WFH)

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage the commercial aspects of high‑profile interior fit‑out projects, working closely with project teams to ensure accurate cost control, procurement, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of subcontractor packages, including tendering and contract administration.
• Prepare interim valuations, manage variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
• Undertake measurement and quantity take‑offs for interior fit‑out projects.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on budget and programme.
• Identify and manage commercial risks, providing solutions and recommendations.
• Mentor and support junior QS staff where applicable.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 7 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a subcontractor, ideally in interior fit‑out or commercial refurbishment.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale projects and subcontractor packages.
• Must live within approximately one hour commuting distance of High Wycombe.
• Full UK driving licence with own transport (required for travel to London projects).
• Permanent right to work full‑time in the UK.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and commercial software, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of working independently while supporting project teams.
