About This Position
  • Lead a team of quantity surveyors working on rail projects and providing guidance and support as needed to internal and external customers.
  • Collaborating with project managers, rail engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure rail project objectives are met.
  • To provide procurement advice and work with customers to develop estimates, tender documentation, process and evaluation tools.
  • To provide technical support on contract interpretation, negotiation and wider commercial strategies for internal and external customers.
  • To lead and continuously improve change management, commercial forecasting and reporting, working closely with other functions.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations, including those specific to rail infrastructure and government procurement processes.
  • To seek out opportunities to add value in customer delivery and future propositions.
