Job summary

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experience working for a civil engineering contractor.
  • Background in highways, infrastructure, utilities, groundworks, or general civils.

Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of civil engineering projects.
  • Cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control.
  • Valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
  • Subcontractor procurement, management, and payments.
  • Managing variations, change control, and commercial risk.
  • Contract administration (NEC experience preferred).
  • Supporting project delivery teams on commercial matters.
  • Mentoring junior staff.
