Job summary

A leading construction company in the UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage monthly applications for payment, subcontractor procurement, and project management. The ideal candidate will handle contract variations and financial forecasting, liaise with clients and construction teams, and ensure compliance with contracts. Applicants should have relevant experience and knowledge of NEC contracts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Applications for payment.
• Pricing and agreement of variations.
• Procurement of subcontractors.
• Processing of Subcontract payments.
• Monthly forecasting of revenue & costs.
• Monthly CVR.
• Cash collection & debt control.
• Final accounts.
• Management of projects with Contracts Manager to achieve target margins.
• Liaising with clients & construction team on value engineering or cost reduction opportunities.
• Regular site visits.
• Attending prestart meetings and regular progress meetings.
• Reporting to Commercial Manager and Commercial Director.
• Knowledge of or experience dealing with NEC contracts an advantage.
