Job description
Overview

We are looking for a competent Project Support Officer to work within our People and Culture Change Team. You will provide administrative support to projects that aim to create and maintain inclusive services and practices for our service users and staff. You will support the Trust in achieving its Strategic Equality Objectives and ensure operations comply with statutory requirements. Team projects include developing and delivering training, inclusive recruitment projects, facilitating staff networks, policy development and advising on impact assessment.

You will be a team player who demonstrates attitudes and behaviours aligned with the Trust. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are integral to ensuring the smooth implementation of our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level project and administrative support to assist in planning and delivery of projects.
  • Support, facilitate and monitor project progress; identify risks and report to the Project Manager.
  • Use effective communication and negotiation to overcome barriers and disseminate information to identified parties.
  • Evaluate and assess project performance; capture and monitor project risks; undertake reporting and analysis using IT applications including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Plan and deliver specific elements of the project; provide administrative and technical support to Project Managers; organise meetings or events.
  • Develop and implement policies related to the project; maintain and order stock and supplies; support the development and delivery of training for staff at all levels.
  • Develop and maintain the project library, databases and resource lists; ensure data is recorded accurately.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination among stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
