  • Managing interfaces between various project team members, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and quality
  • Developing project management plans including project scope, baseline programme, fee estimate, roles and responsibilities, risk analysis, technical review requirements, chairing progress meetings and producing weekly/monthly reports
  • Identifying blockers to project delivery and finding resolutions
  • Prioritising client satisfaction through building and maintaining strong relationships and engaging with key clients, whilst forming trusting relationships with colleagues to ensure effective co-ordination for mutually beneficial outcomes

If you have a passion for Project Management, innovation, and leading projects that make a real difference to local communities, then we would like to hear from you.

Your Team

You will be an integral part of our high performing teams in Leeds and Teesside. Our teams are friendly, collaborative and our ethos is based on trust, integrity and fairness. Both teams are fundamental to our delivery of projects for both private sector and Local Authority clients, including our key local client, Leeds City Council, who we have been in partnership with for over 20 years.

You will have the fantastic opportunity to support our project managers delivering a wide range of interesting and significant projects – from schemes, such as the award winning Regent Street Flyover, through to a diverse range of bridge refurbishment and maintenance improvements as well as feasibility studies and bridge inspection and assessment work throughout the UK.

You will follow agreed WSP Project Management systems and processes and industry best practice provided by the Association for Project Management (APM).

The variance of work opportunities – from inception to completion – offers excellent prospects for career advancement and development. Training will be provided on the job and you will be fully supported to achieve professional accreditation in your chosen field.
