A financial services firm in Cheadle is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives focused on regulatory changes. The role involves managing resources, engaging with executive stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet governance requirements. Ideal candidates will have significant experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with a strong background in finance. We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact, strategic initiatives. You will be focusing on our new regulatory change portfolio and with support from Leadership and the wider team, be a key voice in the setup and definition of the Portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring business and technology projects meet regulatory and governance requirements whilst aligning with our enterprise risk strategy.
In this pivotal role, you'll unite internal and external teams to deliver measurable outcomes, champion operational readiness, and keep complex programmes on track. You'll engage confidently with executive stakeholders, manage risks, budgets, and third‑party relationships, and drive projects from conception to implementation. As a senior voice within the Delivery Management team, you'll also mentor colleagues, and foster collaboration.
