Job description

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering enthralling projects with a hands‑on approach throughout the whole project life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the client's requirements. Your duties will include (but not limited to):

Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects (depending on size and complexity) from inception to completion with full support from Senior Management
  • Ensure all projects are delivered within budget, on time and to the client's requirements with regular site visits and inspections
  • Efficiently manage multi‑disciplined project teams which include architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors in a collaborative manner
  • Develop project management strategies including planning, programming, scheduling to monitor project progress
  • Identify and alleviate any risks and challenges, create, and implement contingency plans to mitigate any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor project budgets and track expenditures using cost control measures throughout the whole project lifecycle
  • Maintain, network, and build relationships with clients, stakeholders, project teams and supply chain to provide an exceptional level of service
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, any relevant legal and industry standards, and contractual agreements
Qualifications
  • Construction related degree (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager in Consultancy environment - ideally a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of standard construction project management processes and documentation through all RIBA stages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop, build and maintain strong relationships
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages
  • JCT and/or NEC Contract experience
