Senior Project Manager - Food Retail Projects

Location: UK Wide (South / Midlands preferred)

Salary: £70,000-£75,000 + Car Allowance + Healthcare + Bonus

Overview

My client are seeking a dynamic and technically capable Senior Project Manager to lead retail fit‑out schemes for one of their supermarket / food retail account.

The role involves managing both small and large‑scale projects across the UK, with a strong focus on food retail environments. You'll be joining a team with a proven track record, including delivery of two major schemes, and a secured pipeline of work for the coming year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from initial scoping through delivery and defect resolution
  • Oversee site teams and subcontractors across multiple locations
  • Manage client relationships and chair project meetings
  • Coordinate with QS on programming and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with standards and health & safety regulations
Range of Schemes
  • Empty shell fit‑outs
  • Full‑line store refurbishments
  • Conversions (cladding, roofing, etc.)
Location & Travel

Projects span from Yorkshire to the South, with 50% based in London. UK‑wide travel required. Flexible working.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experienced in food retail fit‑outs
  • Strong technical knowledge and site delivery experience
  • SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certified
  • Client‑facing with excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to adapt and be moulded into a long‑term asset
