We are recruiting for a rail infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in rail signalling projects to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead complex projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality solutions across the rail network.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of rail signalling projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time delivery. This includes overseeing design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover, while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of rail signalling infrastructure projects from inception to completion
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to achieve project objectives
  • Ensure compliance with rail safety standards, signalling regulations, and industry best practices
  • Produce and review technical documentation, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and engineers
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project performance
