Job description

Overview

The Role: Senior Project Manager required to work within our clients social housing refurbishment division, covering contracts in and around Stoke on Trent, following a recent contract win with a major Housing Association.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of operational trades and construction staff
• Direct responsibility for the safe delivery of social housing refurbishment and retrofit projects
• Manage sub-contracted labour
• Liaise with, and update the client with issues and progress
• Report into the Operations Manager for this contract
• Ensure contracts and works are delivered safely, on time and in budget
• Maintain the highest level of Health & Safety procedures
• Hold full operational responsibility for the ongoing refurbishment projects
• Mentor and motivate a newly established team

Qualifications and experience

• Essential Social housing refurbishment experience
• Essential Experience in a Project Management refurbishment/maintenance position
• Essential Experience in working with retrofit maintenance programmes
• Essential Excellent leadership and management skills
• Essential The desire to make a difference in the social housing construction sector
• Essential Exceptional H&S knowledge
• Essential Excellent IT skills
• Essential SMSTS
• Essential CSCS
• Essential Full UK driving licence
• Essential A clear basic DBS
• Desirable Knowledge and experience of working within retrofit social housing contracts
