Ideal applicants will have a degree in a relevant discipline and significant experience in rail or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead the implementation of the new 25kV isolation standard across the Eastern Region. You will manage compliance, assess electrical hazards, and support delivery units through this major programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SAI25 and drive safe, efficient project delivery.
• Lead development of residual electrical risk hazard registers with Delivery Units and Senior Project Engineers (SPE).
• Manage signalling risk assessments and provide briefings at DU and Control levels.
• Collaborate on HAZID workshops, DRACAS close-out, ERAS mentoring, and post-implementation analysis.
• Update isolation documentation and oversee migration of active Technical Verifications/derogations.
• Promote Level 1 Assurance activities across Delivery Unit regimes.

What You Need

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Membership of APM or equivalent, ideally working towards chartered status.
• Rail/infrastructure project delivery experience.
• Strong electrical safety, risk assessment, and compliance knowledge.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.
