Job description

Senior Program Manager, Experience Design

Job Description:

Sage’s Digital Experience Design (DXD) team is looking for a Senior Design Program Manager to build the operational backbone that helps our global design organization move faster, work smarter, and scale with AI. In this role, you’ll free up senior designers to focus on high-impact creative work by shaping the systems, workflows, and processes that make great design possible.

This is a hybird role, working from our London office 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll lead program delivery across major DXD initiatives, partnering closely with design leadership, developers, content teams, PMM, and GTM stakeholders to turn big ideas into actionable plans. You’ll guide a team of 5–6 experience designers, balancing workloads, nurturing growth, and ensuring every project moves smoothly from intake to execution. Alongside engineering, you’ll help build an AI-ready design system and scalable component libraries that power our web experience.

A core part of your role is bringing AI into everyday practice—embedding automation, analytics, and rapid-iteration workflows that increase speed and elevate decision-making. You’ll manage the operational side of design: from resource modeling and workflow documentation to dashboards that help the organization track performance and velocity. And you’ll foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and design excellence, championing alignment and quality across marketing, product, and engineering.

Why Join Sage?

At Sage, you’ll join a community that believes in collaboration, continuous improvement, and doing what’s right, for our people, our customers, and our suppliers.

You’ll have the space to grow, the tools to succeed, and the support of a team that celebrates progress big and small.

If you’re ready to take your finance career further in a role where every detail makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What's in it for you?
  • Generous bonuses and pension scheme: Up to 8% matched pension contribution plus 2% top-up by Sage.
  • 25 days of paid annual leave with the option to buy up to another 5 days
  • 8 bank holiday days
  • Paid 5 days yearly to volunteer through our Sage Foundation
  • 50% income protection
  • Holiday buy + sell
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Hybrid working
  • Healthy Mind app membership
  • Access to various helpful memberships for finances, health and wellbeing
