Senior Procurement Manager – Property (M&E)

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 +£bonus

Location: Hertfordshire (3 days per week in the office)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join a well-established team and take ownership of key elements within the property, with a particular focus on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E).

This role will work closely with senior stakeholders across property, distribution, and retail to develop and implement strategic procurement plans that deliver long-term value and support wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the category strategy for M&E, aligned to overall business priorities
  • Deliver substantial cost savings through well-executed sourcing and commercial negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Manage supplier performance and contract compliance, addressing any risks or issues
  • Report on cost-saving initiatives and category performance using agreed processes
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with other business units to identify group-wide efficiencies
  • Lead supplier reviews and ensure the highest standards of service and sustainability
  • Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, including international colleagues (three total)

Ideal Experience

  • Proven experience in procurement, ideally with exposure to M&E
  • Commercially focused, with excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic change
  • Experience managing large-scale procurement projects across multiple workstreams
