A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking a Senior/Principal EC&I Engineer to deliver design and engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field and have experience in mechanical handling or process instrumentation, preferably in the nuclear sector. An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our client's dynamic team, where you will be responsible for defining and distributing the scope of work to ensure that the project is executed safely, on time and at appropriate levels of quality.
As the Senior/Principal EC&I Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of design and engineering to meet the requirements technical specification.
This role has been deemed outside IR35 but is dependent on a full status determination assessment.
Duration: 12 months +
Location will be based in Didcot, including remote working with occasional site visit
Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licensed site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gases, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
