Then join Stantec’s industry leading Civil Infrastructure team in London. We are current seeking a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer to join us in London. This is an opportunity to join a busy group with an established track record of delivering innovative projects for our clients and the community across the South East and beyond. Our London office is centrally located in Farringdon, right across from the station making it easily accessible. Over the years, we have worked on some fantastic high-profile projects such as Lewisham Gateway, Elephant Park, Agar Grove Estate in Camden, South Thamesmead, Old Oak Common in West London, and Battersea Power Station. We also work on projects outside of London currently including the Isle of White, Jersey, Birmingham, Malta and Gozo. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians within the team.
• Take responsibility for leading the technical delivery and approval of projects and review the work produced by the team.
• Play a key part in delivering high-quality design projects on time and within budget.
• Work closely with clients to influence the development of infrastructure schemes in the region.
• Collaborate with internal teams across disciplines to deliver multi-disciplinary projects from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• MEng or BEng qualification and Chartered Engineer status.
• Focus on achieving coordinated solutions, with strong verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., utility companies, drainage authorities, highway authorities).
• Experience in highway and drainage infrastructure design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects for the full lifecycle.
• Proven track record of delivering projects in collaboration with clients across technical disciplines.
• Experience mentoring and managing the workload of junior team members.
• Skills with Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, and utility coordination are advantageous.
