Job summary

A Tier 1 Major Contractor in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to support major projects ranging from £30M to £100M. This permanent role offers opportunities for advancement in a secure environment. The ideal candidate has over 10 years in Quantity Surveying, is degree qualified or RICS chartered, and possesses strong commercial awareness and networking abilities within the industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in a commercial Contracting environment in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Experience of Commercial and Public Sector Schemes desirable.
• Experience of Design & Build, JCT and NEC Forms of contract advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the front-end Pre-Construction phase of major projects.
• Manage works packages on projects upwards of circa £10M - £20M.
• Minimise risk to margin.
