Power T&D is entering a period of major growth, with several significant projects moving through Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and pre-construction stages. These stages are critical, linking business development to delivery and shaping every aspect of the construction phase.
The Pre-Construction Manager will lead projects from ECI through detailed design to site start, ensuring smooth progression through the Gated Lifecycle governance process. This includes managing knowledge transfer, risks, and the development of robust proposals.
The role newly established focuses on delivering successful ECI and Stage One contracts for key clients such as SSEN Transmission and National Grid Electricity Transmission. It also requires strong collaboration across the wider Power T&D business to share expertise, enhance learning, and help set market-leading standards.
