Gecko Travel Recruitment are working with an award‑winning tour operator who are recruiting a Senior PR & Social Media Executive to join their marketing team.

Role

As Senior PR & Social Media Executive you will support the Head of PR & Social Media and an external PR agency in delivering a proactive PR strategy. You will take full ownership of the day‑to‑day running of the company’s social media platforms (primarily Instagram and LinkedIn). You will generate positive coverage, increase brand awareness, organise press activity, and manage social content that supports the wider marketing team.

You Will Have
  • 2+ years’ PR experience (in‑house or agency), ideally within the luxury market or travel industry
  • Strong writing skills and creativity
  • Social‑media savvy with solid knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn and scheduling tools
  • Experience with Canva and Photoshop
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • A keen eye for aesthetics, with the ability to create visually appealing, on‑brand content
  • A passion for travel
