Job summary

A leading Building Services provider is looking for an experienced Senior Plumber/Pipefitter to work across various sites in West Yorkshire. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £21.00 based on qualifications and experience, along with a comprehensive package including travel compensation and additional benefits. Candidates should have experience in commercial plumbing and pipefitting, and a Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Mechanical Installations is preferred. Opportunities for additional qualifications are also available after the probation period.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Plumbing & Pipefitting.
• Possess a full UK driving license.
• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Mechanical Installations preferred.
• Gas qualifications advantageous, but not essential.
• SSSTS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing and pipefitting tasks across various commercial and residential projects.
• Manage small to major works efficiently while ensuring safety and quality.
• Collaborate with teams on site for effective project execution.

Our client, a leading Building Services provider, is seeking an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter for work across commercial and residential sites, including apartments, offices, and schools. The role involves small works to major projects, primarily local but with occasional work away, which is paid including lodging and £25 per night for food. The hourly rate depends on qualification level and experience, with top roles including working foreman/site supervisor or commercial gas qualified with testing & purging of gas pipework. Opportunities to fund these qualifications are available after a 6-month probation.

The projects range from £10k to £2m mechanically.

The Candidate:

• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Mechanical Installations
• Full UK driving license
• Experience in Commercial Plumbing & Pipefitting
• Gas qualifications (commercial or domestic) are beneficial but not essential
• SSSTS certification is beneficial but not essential
