Job summary

A respected regional housebuilder is seeking a Planner or Senior Planner to join their expanding Land and Planning team in Bury St Edmunds. This role offers the opportunity to support the Planning Manager and engage in land acquisition projects across East Anglia. Candidates should possess a degree in Town Planning and ideally have five years of relevant experience. A full UK driving licence is required for site visits. Qualifications

• Eligibility for RTPI membership preferred.
• Ideally five years’ experience in planning.
• Full UK driving licence (site visits required).

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning Manager in delivering land opportunities.
• Prepare and submit planning applications.
• Coordinate external consultants.
• Attend meetings with local authorities.
• Assist in Section 106 negotiations.
