Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Therapy Assistant/Support Worker who is a good team player and motivated, to join our dynamic outpatient Physiotherapy department. The department sees largely pre and post‑surgical patients requiring care and rehabilitation. As a senior therapy assistant you are required to support the department and qualified staff with treating and rehabilitating, deliver group classes and, within an agreed competency framework, assess, treat and manage your own caseload.

Responsibilities

The role involves supporting the running of the department, stock ordering and monitoring, supporting infection control, audits and liaising with estates. You may also be required to support administrative duties and contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the department.

Non‑clinical duties

In addition, you will carry out a range of non‑clinical duties related to the role.
