Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant - Aseptic/ Technical Services
We are looking for reliable, conscientious and practical pharmacy assistants to join our friendly and enthusiastic team in the Aseptic Services unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.
You will be required to demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning and development and to have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in pharmacy technical services (aseptic production).
Due to the critical nature of our work you will have to meet the highest standards of discipline, personal hygiene and attention to detail. You will be required to work at all times within the health and safety guidelines of the department, to follow standard operating procedures and comply with Good Manufacturing (GMP) Standards.
Successful candidates will benefit from undertaking a Level 2 NVQ qualification in Pharmacy Services and can progress further onto the Science Manufacturing Technician (SMT) Level 3 course if aptitude and enthusiasm for the role is demonstrated.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
