A regional healthcare provider in Chorley is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support medication supply and supervise staff. You will handle stock replenishment, order assembly, and use Pharmacy IT systems. Candidates should have 4 GCSEs, experience in a pharmacy, and work towards NVQ Level 2. This role emphasizes quality patient care within the pharmacy operations.
Working under the supervision of the Specialist Pharmacy Technician and Lead Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a major role in the supply of medication across Lancashire Teaching Hospitals and external organisations, including Pendleside Hospice and St Catherine's Hospice. Core duties include, but are not limited to: order assembly, stock replenishment to wards and departments, delivery and dispatch, stock control, and use of the Pharmacy IT System and Pharmacy WebTracker. This role supports the organisation's goal of delivering high-quality patient care and may involve supervision and development of pharmacy personnel.
