Qualifications

  • Organised and personable payroll professional with exceptional communication skills.
  • Track record of working to deadlines and managing a busy workload.
  • Experience within a payroll bureau or similar environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple intervals.
  • Administer workplace pensions and handle PAYE closures.
  • Coordinate with HMRC and onboard new payroll clients.
  • Provide expert payroll support via phone and email.
  • Contribute to the training and development of the payroll team.
  • Assist in process improvements and complete analysis tasks.
  • Manage BACS payments, pension schemes, and advanced payroll functions.
  • Advise the Payroll Manager on payroll procedure enhancements.

Skills

Exceptional organisation and time-management skills
Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
Experience in a payroll bureau or similar environment
Familiarity with the BrightPay payroll system
CIPP qualification
