Senior Occupational Therapist – Neurodiversity Pathway

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our innovative, integrated Neurodiversity Team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about supporting our developing Neurodiversity Pathway model.

Our pathway provides specialist assessment and short‑term intervention for children, young people, and their families where needs relate to neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Tics and Tourette Syndrome.

You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues across pathways and in partnership with local Paediatric services, education providers, and other agencies.

Main duties of the job

As an OT within our Neurodiversity pathway you will:

  • Conduct high‑quality, specialist assessments to better understand the needs of neurodivergent children and young people.
  • Provide good quality evidence‑based, time‑limited interventions to children, young people and their families.
  • Offer clinical supervision to the wider team when required, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
  • Provide guidance, advice and training to colleagues, families and partner agencies through consultative work.
  • Remain informed with the latest research and best practices in the field of neurodiversity.
