Salary: £50,100 - £75,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: 15 month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

The role

This is an key part of our Power Economics Team. Your main purpose is to produce economic and commercial forecasts of electricity network charging costs affecting SSE's retail and generation businesses. This role requires expertise in economic modelling and strategic analysis. You will help shape policy decisions in the energy sector with recommendations that support investment and pricing initiatives.

You will
  • Deliver monthly forecasts of network charges for generation and supply portfolios.
  • Support model development and continuous improvement with data-driven and innovative approaches.

You have

  • Educated to a degree level or possess relevant industry experience.

  • An ability to work with and influence stakeholders at multiple levels within and outside of the organisation.
