Senior Installation Engineers

Location: Dartford, Kent

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Company Vehicle

Contract: Permanent, Full-time, Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours per week / Some flexibility may be required (08:00‑17:00)

Overview

Are you highly experienced in first and second fix of enterprise security systems? Do you have experience supervising construction sites and leading installation teams? Do you hold an engineering degree or industry‑specific certification? Are you experienced with access‑control platforms such as C.Cure, Lenel, Genetec or Gallagher, and video surveillance platforms such as Axis, Bosch, Avigilon or Genetec? Do you have strong knowledge of IP networks and their application within security systems? Job Requirements
  • Strong experience in first and second fix of enterprise security systems.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with at least one of the following access‑control platforms: C.Cure, Lenel, Genetec, Gallagher.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with at least one of the following video surveillance platforms: Axis, Bosch, Avigilon, Genetec.
  • Strong working knowledge of IP networks and their application within security systems.
  • Competent in fault finding, fault resolution, and delivering fault‑free installations.
  • Demonstrable experience supervising construction sites and leading installation teams.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with other trades and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical staff and project management teams.
  • Health & Safety trained (SSSTS or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Capability to own and lead projects, ensuring delivery to scope, time, and quality standards.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Client‑focused, adaptable, and solutions‑oriented, with the ability to pivot to overcome challenges.
  • Willingness to work on construction sites and fit‑out environments, across both large and small scale projects.
  • Prepared to work primarily in London, with flexibility to work around the UK or abroad if required.
  • Willing to undertake occasional overtime, including weekends (≈1 per month) and some evenings when necessary.
  • Engineering graduate or industry‑specific certification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills.
