Senior Medical Writer – Healthcare Communications (Promotional)

Permanent – UK – Hybrid

I’m supporting an established healthcare communications agency that is looking to add an experienced Medical Writer to their growing team. This role will suit someone who enjoys blending scientific depth with creative storytelling and is confident owning client relationships and leading projects from a scientific perspective.

What you’ll be doing
  • Develop clear, accurate and compelling materials across a variety of promotional formats, including digital tools, congress assets, educational content for healthcare professionals and patients, websites, and other multichannel deliverables.
  • Review clinical studies, publications and datasets to identify key messages, shape communication strategies and ensure scientific credibility.
  • Act as the scientific lead across assigned brands, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and strategic direction across all deliverables.
  • Work closely with account teams, creatives and strategists, acting as the go-to scientific expert within your project groups.
  • Carry out literature searches and background research for proposals, pitches and new initiatives, producing concise summaries to inform internal teams and clients.
