Job summary

A local healthcare provider is seeking a proactive Senior Medical Secretary for the Trauma & Orthopaedic service. This role demands excellent organisational, communication, and typing skills, as well as previous secretarial experience. Key responsibilities include managing patient records, providing a full secretarial service to named Consultants, and ensuring the accuracy of RTT status. The role offers a salary range of £27,485 to £30,162 pro-rata with benefits including flexible working and generous leave entitlement.

Qualifications

  • Previous secretarial experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior medical secretarial service to named Consultants.
  • Maintain patient records and track notes electronically.
  • Handle incoming mail and respond to enquiries from GPs and other health personnel.
