Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET/CIBSE).
• Significant consultancy experience within building services.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and sustainable design.
• Confident conducting independent site visits and discussions.
• Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for building services across all RIBA stages.
• Carry out site visits and condition surveys.
• Prepare design calculations and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior and intermediate engineers.
• Manage client relationships and ensure service delivery.
• Contribute to technical reviews and design standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
