Senior Marketing Executive

Overview

On behalf of our client we have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Marketing Executive who will be responsible for driving all aspects of marketing and events that engage, attract, and convert end‑user customers. This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a new direct‑to‑customer strategy (GT Time), working closely with Sales and Product teams to deliver powerful, measurable results.

Key Duties
  • Design and execute automated lead generation campaigns using Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and email automation tools to drive direct pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to define and manage the end‑to‑end lead process, including NDAs, provision of tailored collateral, and booking qualified sales meetings.
  • Develop and tailor messaging that addresses time theft, payroll error, and fraud (e.g. “buddy punching”), highlighting the ROI of biometric time clocks and the compliance advantages of our solution.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at end‑user acquisition and engagement.
  • Plan and manage events such as exhibitions and customer workshops, from concept to delivery.
  • Create high‑impact marketing content that resonates with HR, operations, and IT professionals at organisations using Oracle, SAP, and Workday HCM systems, including whitepapers, webinars, ROI calculators, case studies, and landing pages.
  • Manage and grow our direct communication channels, including website, email newsletters, and social media.
  • Design and implement lead nurturing programs to guide prospects through the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to support customer‑focused initiatives and ensure marketing aligns with sales goals.
  • Measure, report, and optimise marketing performance to continuously improve ROI.

Essential Experience
  • Degree or qualification in Marketing (CIM Diploma, NVQ Level 5+).
  • 3+ years' experience in direct‑to‑customer (B2B or B2B2C) marketing, ideally targeting enterprise buyers or technical decision‑makers.
  • Proven success running automated LinkedIn and email campaigns for lead generation, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Experience promoting technical or compliance‑sensitive products where understanding customer concerns (e.g., data privacy, biometric regulation) is key to building trust and conversion.
  • Familiarity with buyer personas in HR, workforce management, or ERP/HCM environments is highly advantageous.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills focused on customer benefits and storytelling.
  • Proven track record in planning and managing events for direct customer engagement.
  • Advanced PowerPoint design and presentation skills.
  • Solid experience with WordPress (content management, landing page creation).
  • Excellent understanding of social media and digital channels for direct marketing (LinkedIn, X).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — especially InDesign.
  • Excellent knowledge of email marketing tools including segmentation and automation.
