Description
- Management Reporting: Producing accurate monthly management accounts, financial reports, board reports, and variance analysis.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Supporting annual budget preparation and re forecasting processes, advising budget holders.
- Financial Controls: Maintaining general ledger, producing statutory accounts, and implementing new accounting procedures.
- Systems Oversight: Acting as a "super user" for financial software, maintaining reporting hierarchies and chart of accounts.
- Power BI Reporting: Creating and maintaining forecasting templates, ensuring data accuracy, and identifying reconciliation gaps.
- Audit & Financial Accounts: Assisting with year-end accounts and audit processes, supporting strategic initiatives.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant within the Social Housing sector - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA.
- Strong understanding of management and financial accounts.
- Proven experience in advising budget holders and delivering value-for-money insights.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Use of Open Accounts software.
- Track record of performance improvement and change management.
