A major energy provider in the UK seeks a Senior Logistics Programme Integration Manager to oversee logistics operations for the Hinkley Point C project. The successful candidate will manage a small team that integrates demands from multiple projects into cohesive logistics solutions. This role requires strong collaboration across functional boundaries and extensive experience in logistics and planning for large-scale projects. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.
As a key leader, this role is responsible for collaborating with the many competing projects and workstreams across HPC, integrating their demand and needs into the overall logistics operation. It will consolidate material demand into a coherent signal for off‑site warehouses and coordinate external supplier inbound priorities.
The successful candidate will design their own small team whose output will significantly influence the execution of Europe’s largest construction project.
• Interface with various projects & programmes across HPC to consolidate demands.
• Collaborate with Senior Construction Logistics Manager and Senior Logistics Operations Manager to agree on a short‑term plan within logistics capacity constraints.
• Recommend medium‑term logistics baselines to Head of Logistics.
• Ensure data accuracy for the planning team and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders and third‑party logistics partners.
• Coordinate risk, gap and change management across planning horizons, escalations and mitigating actions.
• Integrate logistics into the Integrated Planning process and governance.
• Protect all project documents and sensitive nuclear information in accordance with EDF policies and procedures.
• Lead direct reports to adhere to project governance and standards.
• Continuously improve logistics planning performance through best practice and learning.
• Facilitate collaboration with programme teams and industry partners.
• Support recruitment and act as a role model for project values (humility, positivity, clarity, respect, solidarity).
Hinkley Point C is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain to be built. An incredible endeavour with 22,000 people working on the project in the UK and supporting 71,000 jobs across Britain by the end of construction. Post‑commissioning, HPC will provide zero‑carbon electricity for around six million homes, essential for Britain’s future energy security.
