Job summary

A healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a Principal Linac Engineer to maintain and ensure the safety of linear accelerator treatment machines and other radiotherapy equipment. In this role, you'll assist with installation, commissioning, QA, and development of equipment. You will also work on maintaining IT networks for the treatment facilities. Candidates should have a BSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and experience at Band 6 level in linear accelerator maintenance, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience at Band 6 level in linear accelerator maintenance.
• Experience of maintaining the full range of Treatment Machines and Radiation Physics Equipment.
• High voltage systems and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Keep the linear accelerator treatment machines operational and safe.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, QA and development.
• Participate in maintaining IT networks between facilities.

Education
