A renowned educational institution in Ipswich seeks a Senior Lecturer in Practice Education to enhance high-quality practical learning across the School. This role involves supporting the strategic and operational delivery of practice education, ensuring effective coordination and monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant master's degree, current professional registration, and excellent communication skills, along with substantial experience in practice education. Band 7 - £50,253 to £58,226 per annum
The Senior Lecturer in Practice Education will play a key role in supporting the strategic and operational delivery of high-quality practice education across the School. Working closely with the Associate Dean (Learning, Teaching and Practice Education), Manager Placements and Health Partnerships, and academic teams, the postholder will ensure the effective coordination, monitoring, and enhancement of practice learning, with a particular focus on operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

The School has state‑of‑the‑art teaching and research spaces in the Health and Wellbeing Building and the iconic James Hehir Building facing the waterfront, with dedicated specialist facilities for each subject.
Our aim is to educate forward‑thinking students, equipping them with evidence‑based knowledge, practical skills, and a strong sense of social responsibility. Interdisciplinary collaboration, hands‑on learning and community engagement lie at the heart of everything we do.
You will bring substantial experience in practice education within higher education or professional settings, alongside a strong understanding of PSRB requirements. You will hold a relevant master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience), current professional registration and a recognised HE teaching qualification. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and partnership‑building skills as well as a proven ability to manage complex operational processes.
