Summary

Are you a skilled IT professional with a passion for delivering exceptional support and driving technical excellence? We’re looking for a talented and experienced Lead IT Support Technician to join our growing Managed Services team in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Level 2 engineer to join a growing company at the ground level and grow with it.

The Role

As our Lead Technician, you’ll be the go-to technical expert within our support team. You’ll handle escalated issues, contribute to project delivery, and play a key role in mentoring junior engineers as our small team expands. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure their IT environments are secure, efficient, and aligned with modern best practices. You will be responsible for leading technical delivery and supporting a wide range of SME clients across the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues (Level 2/3)
  • Support the delivery of IT projects (e.g. onboarding, migrations, deployments, upgrades)
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace environments, including Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Defender
  • Administer and optimise PSA and RMM tools
  • Provide remote and occasional on-site support to a diverse client base
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and contribute to solution design
  • Mentor and support junior team members

  • Windows Server experience (e.g. Active Directory, Group Policy, etc.)
  • Linux experience
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
