Job description
Role Overview

Stepping into a new senior leadership role to drive growth and lead a large team, ensuring the organisation consistently excels in UK immigration, regulatory, and recruitment compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead regular internal audits and report findings to the Head of Department.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and industry standards.
  • Support the Head of Department in developing compliance strategies and preparing reports for senior leadership.
Immigration
  • Serve as Care UK's main point of contact for UKVI and manage the Sponsor Management System (SMS).
  • Ensure compliance with the Home Office sponsor duties and conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain internal immigration policies and procedures in line with changing legislation.
Recruitment Compliance
  • Ensure recruitment practices align with employment law, equality, and data protection regulations.
  • Implement and monitor robust systems for document verification and candidate onboarding including new system roll out.
  • Deliver training and guidance to recruiters and hiring managers on compliance processes and best practice and managing relationships with external recruitment partners.
Qualifications
  • Strong and demonstrable understanding of UK immigration legislation, sponsor licence management, and recruitment governance.
  • Experience of and success with managing audits and dealing with Home Office or regulatory bodies.
  • Knowledge of in-house ATS management.
  • Able to travel nationwide.
