An established retailer, the market leader in its field, is looking to recruit a senior HR business partner to oversee all corporate and commercial functions within its global head office. This award-winning retailer has a footprint of stores globally, totalling over 300. The company values centre around providing a unique customer experience, whilst also working in the local community to hold many local events in its stores. They believe in providing a warm, welcoming environment with beautiful displays, excellent service and a commitment to developing passionate, knowledgeable staff.

The role of senior HR business will oversee all head office functions, for a 12-to-13-month maternity cover, finishing at the end of January 2027. Your role will involve leading and supporting specific people projects, working closely with the senior leadership and executive team in the office, ensuring that HR are adding value to support business performance and ensuring that people are at the heart of all decisions made. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of two, including an HR business partner and an HR advisor.

To be considered, you’ll have gained significant experience working at an experienced HRBP or senior HRBP level, ideally in a retail environment. You’ll have broad generalist knowledge across all disciplines with an in-depth knowledge of HR procedures and policies. You will be comfortable working independently in an autonomous environment, with the ability to build and maintain key relationships across all levels including senior leadership teams.

The salary on offer is up to £75,000, depending on experience and offers a comprehensive benefit package including bonus, healthcare protection and a generous pension contributions. The role is based in the heart of Central London, in a bustling area with plenty going on. There is hybrid working on offer with two days from home. The company is looking for the successful applicant to start before the end of January.
