We connect, collaborate, and champion the well‑being of our employees, forming partnerships and pioneering change in our ever‑evolving industry.

At Etex, we seek to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and our communities. Are you looking for a company where you can learn, grow & lead? Join us as a People Operations Partner. You will provide satellite support, with occasional travel to UK sites, and one day a week travel to Bristol.

Are you a proactive and solutions‑focused HR professional looking to make a real impact on the ground? We’re looking for an HR Operations Partner to provide hands‑on support and expert guidance to managers and employees. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to contact for all HR matters—ensuring policies are applied consistently, supporting the full employee lifecycle, and helping to build a positive, compliant, and high‑performing workplace culture.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide day‑to‑day HR support to managers and employees, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures
  • Manage employee relations issues while maintaining compliance with labour laws and internal policies
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and off‑boarding
  • Collaborate with HR partners to implement global and local HR initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company standards
  • Act as a key point of contact for employee queries and promote engagement and development initiatives
  • Coach and advise managers on HR policies, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Support change management and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes
  • Manage labour relations, including communication with unions, handling disputes and local negotiations
  • Monitor and maintain a positive social climate through effective employee dialogue and council participation
What you’ll bring:
  • Experience in a generalist or operational HR role at a similar level with a manufacturing/industrial type organisation
  • Strong knowledge and experience in employee relations
  • Confident coaching managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication, influencing and conflict resolution skills
  • Trusted partner with strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused, and collaborative in a matrix environment
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and comfortable using HR data and metrics
  • We are named the world’s #1 most trustworthy company in the construction sector by Newsweek and Statista in 2023!
  • Our culture – we connect & care about those around us. We nurture teamwork, communities, partnerships and new ways of working, placing the highest importance on safety and the working environment of our people.
  • Our ‘Road to Sustainability 2030’ is our plan to help build a better, sustainable future. We work towards this vision by caring about our social and environmental impacts and developing innovative solutions.
  • We have a strong conviction that diversity of thinking helps us to deliver a strong and sustainable performance. It is also essential for us that everyone feels part of the team. In this spirit, we are committed to equal opportunities and zero tolerance towards discrimination.
  • Flexibility: For us, hybrid and flexible working is all about trust, and we want you to be able to do your best work (depending on the role).
