About the Role:

As a CBRE Host & Events Sr Coordinator, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and day‑of execution of meetings, conferences, and events across multiple sites in EMEA. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality events that meet client expectations.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the Host coordinators daily activities. Establish work schedules and assign tasks.
  • Set and track staff deadlines.
  • Support the events for sites across EMEA, work with remote and local teams to oversee the setup, refresh, and removal of service items to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with management to communicate department goals and align event execution with client vision.
  • Work with local and remote teams to confirm pre‑event setup, including space configurations and audio/visual requirements, ensuring all details are complete.
  • Follow up with clients pre‑ and post‑event to confirm satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex client inquiries and escalated complaints efficiently.
  • Assist in the execution of SLAs, KPIs, benchmarks, and recurring reports to maintain high service standards.
  • Manage the meeting and events calendar for event spaces, ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Work with local and remote teams to order and manage event supplies as needed, maintaining inventory and ensuring availability.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems, recommending new techniques and improvements.
  • Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related, fostering a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of job‑related experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Ability to fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role, including stooping, standing, walking, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Comprehensive understanding of event planning processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset to continuously improve event execution.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Advanced math skills with the ability to calculate figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
  • Excellent communication skills to evaluate and convey complex content in a concise and logical manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
