What you will do
  • Carry out and delegate care and support tasks while ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
  • Ensure that the rights and choices of individuals are actively promoted and supported, and their beliefs and preferences are appropriately acknowledged.
  • Comply with national and local policy, procedures, guidelines and legislation.
  • Complete local and corporate induction and attend mandatory and priority training sessions.
  • Promote choice in the delivery of care and support, reviewing and suggesting enhancements to improve individuals’ experiences. Enable concerns and complaints to be raised freely by the individual and/or their representatives.
About you
  • Must have an S/NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Numerate and literate.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Good communication skills, capable of effectively liaising within a team setting.
  • At least two years of relevant care work experience is required.
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership and supervision.
  • Audit awareness.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring is a plus, along with applicable qualifications.
  • You will bring specific competencies relevant to the healthcare assistant field.
