Overview

VANRATH is partnering with a well-established supply firm to search for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor. This role offers a strong commitment to workplace safety and employee well being. The position is based in either Lisburn or Strabane and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule. Travel to other sites is required. Core Duties

• Work closely with production and distribution teams to gain operational insight for effective risk assessment.
• Complete scheduled depot compliance audits to verify health and safety controls are implemented and effective.
• Prepare for and attend monthly operations meetings.
• Collaborate with the ROI health and safety advisor to implement and enforce Group compliance objectives.
• Communicate health and safety responsibilities via toolbox talks and training to support risk reduction.
• Review and complete risk assessments for all Group processes and activities.
• Review and finalize safe systems of work for all operational activities across the Group.
• Ensure receipt of relevant compliance documentation from contractors, including permits to work.
• Maintain accident, near-miss, and spill reporting databases.
• Collaborate with the Environmental Compliance Advisor to achieve EHS compliance under the Compliance and Sustainability Manager\'s direction.
• Assist the Compliance and Sustainability Manager in implementing an enhanced health and safety management system.

Essential Criteria

• Health and Safety Advisor experience or similar
• Minimum 3 years H&S experience
