A leading banking institution is seeking a Senior Governance Manager for a 12-month period in Greater London. You will provide corporate governance advice to support strategic objectives and manage relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the regulatory environment and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include governance advice, project leadership, and compliance assurance, ensuring high standards of governance are maintained across the organization.
Join us as a Senior Governance Manager
As a Senior Governance Manager, you’ll offer advice on a range of corporate governance matters up to executive committee and board level, while identifying opportunities to improve the corporate governance framework and its processes.
Alongside this, you’ll manage relationships with, provide briefings to and act as a point of contact to stakeholders for advice on corporate governance matters. You may also be required to act as a secretary to senior governance fora.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need an understanding of the company secretarial and regulatory environments, pertaining to large and complex financial services organisations. It would also be helpful if you had knowledge of our bank’s structure, its businesses and key issues facing the banking sector. You will also need to be able to manage highly confidential information in a discreet and professional manner.
