Responsibilities:

  • Govern and maintain the accuracy of network asset data
  • Translate and manage large spatial datasets in collaboration with IT
  • Ensure high data quality in asset and customer management systems
  • Oversee receipt and validation of as-built documentation
  • Enforce consistent and cost-effective network designs
  • Support cross-functional resolution of planning or technical issues
  • Drive continuous improvement across design standards, processes, and reporting
  • Help achieve department and personal KPIs

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of GIS data/metadata and its application in infrastructure or service provision
  • Strong IT infrastructure knowledge, particularly as it relates to GIS systems
  • Based within a commutable distance of the network footprint
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp civils and fibre network planning/design in the UK
  • Knowledge of FTTH/P network components and architecture
  • Familiarity with Openreach’s PIA product and usage
  • Experience with GIS tools like APX, DPComm, or similar infrastructure-specific platforms
