My client a leading Ladies Fashion supplier based in London is looking for a unique individual talented Garment Technologist who is highly skilled in manual pattern sealing and grading. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical environment, enjoys working with detailed measurements and specifications, and wants to be part of a fast-paced and innovative fashion team.

This role offers flexi hours, early close on Fridays, team lunches and an inclusive environment.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Finalise hand-drawn patterns to production-ready standards
  • Manually grade across multiple sizes while maintaining proper fit, balance, and proportion
  • Apply technical expertise to ensure patterns align with design intent and manufacturing needs
  • Produce detailed tech packs and specification sheets, including size charts, construction details, and fit notes
  • Build and maintain accurate Excel spec documentation to guide production
  • Translate initial design or buyer tech packs into technically sound, production-feasible garments
  • Lead or assist in fit sessions, identifying fit issues and implementing solutions
  • Provide expert technical guidance on shape, construction, and measurementEnsure all sealing, grading, and amendments are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Review samples to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality from proto through production
  • Work proactively to resolve technical challenges and prevent production delays
  • Maintain high standards across all womenswear product categories
Person Specifications:
  • A strong Garment Technologist with hands-on manual sealing and grading experience (essential)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working across multiple ladieswear categories in a fast fashion environment
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to work under pressure
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, solution-focused approach
  • Self-motivated, confident, and able to manage workload independently
